Weddings and Civil Partnership Ceremonies
Kings Weston House has a license for ceremonies to be
held in any of its rooms on any day of the week. The
Great Hall with its unique suspended staircase is usually
the chosen room for the ceremony, with maximum sitting
capacity of 90 or maximum standing capacity of 120.
Ceremonies are booked directly with the Registrar at
Bristol Registry office on 0117 903 8888.
On
Saturdays during the months of late April to October,
Kings Weston House has a minimum number policy of 60
guests and requires both Day and Evening Receptions
to be booked. Day bookings are from 10am to 6pm and
evening bookings are from 6pm until midnight. Late extensions
until 1am can be booked in advance with a supplement
being applicable.
Asian
/ Indian Weddings
Kings Weston House is hired on an exclusive venue only
basis, which includes use of tables, chairs, crockery,
cutlery, linen and staff and costs start from £3,500.
As we are not experienced in Asian/Indian cuisine outside
caterers are welcome.
Receptions
There are a number of rooms available for receptions
with sitting capacity from 20 to 120 or a maximum sitting
capacity in all the rooms of 300.
Marquees
If you are looking for larger numbers it is possible to have a marquee in the grounds for your event which is either attached to the House, with access through the Breakfast Room or alternatively it can be located freestanding in our grounds. We are more than happy to offer our expertise in providing a marquee which meets your requirements. |
